when Howard was signed he failed to get a reliable pick & pop or stretch 4. everyone knows Howard can only score a few feet from the basket, he was pat successful playing with a PFtjat can stretch things out. How the f**** you into analytics and never figured that out ?

It's tough hearing that sound bite from Morey. With that said, I would expect nothing different considering he's the GM of this team and should sound positive in interviews.

I agree!!! And then when you see reports on ESPN or Twitter sources saying Lakers & (other teams NOT named HOU) are getting "sitdowns" with Hasaan and Horford , you don't feel too excited about any of this!!

 

Actually Les stated once that it wouldn't be that bad if his team failed to make it out of the first round. Of course he would love to win a championship, but he would rather choose the safe option of putting an exciting product out there even if it had no chance of winning it all.

i love how people act like they knew this team was doomed all along. if you weren't saying harden and howard were doomed from the start, don't act all high and mighty now. hell just at the beginning of the season, after we got lawson, the majority of people thought we were Finals contenders.

Yes, but Morey is so proud of that WCF appearance. Without the KD injure and the wheels falling off the Clippers in the 2nd round what has he accomplished in ten years? So many fans still think Morey is the great GM ever, but in reality he's just not as good as most people think.
