i wouldn't be surprised if Milwaukee is on that list as well. They are trying to turn the corner from perennial draft talent stockpiler to playoff team. They don't need another young project. If they are serious about letting the Greek Freak run the show, you could see Carter-Williams made available I bet. Seems like there is a lot of trade opportunity in the air this year. This is where Morey can really start redeeming himself; we need to make some aggressive moves; we shouldnt be scared to take risks, even if that means betting on young talent to make an impact sooner rather than later.
Not really looking to draft Simmons or Ingram. My target would be Hield at three so I would be looking to trade down from one. Might even be able to get another 1st by switching out with Boston. Look, let me clarify something real quick. I like Harden. IMO the only way to win with Harden as your #1 is to put good defenders around him. I just don't see D'antoni doing that.

[rQUOTEr]Calvin Watkins: Rockets GM Daryl Morey said moving into the first round of the NBA Draft via trade is durable. "I think it will be pretty easy to trade into the first this year," Morey told ESPN. "There are four teams that have almost half the draft in the first round and none of them want to use their pick to trade. Trading in will be easy." This is the first time since 2013 the Rockets don't have a first-round pick. Houston has two second-round picks, the 37th and 43rd.[/rQUOTEr]

Hey Morey, don't set us up for disappointment in not getting in the 1st round. If it is "doable", then we expect it done.
I don't see this draft being good or deep, but then again, I'm not an NBA GM. Perhaps the star power isn't there, but role players and maybe starters are? Not sure.
