I live in the Houston market, tough not in Houston. I get my service through Directv and when I went to set my DVR to record the first episode (which will be on ABC this Saturday) and I noticed that the guide says they are showing The Bayou Bowl from 7-10. Is this showing up with all providers in the Houston area? Is there a chance that this could be pre-empted? Has the guide just not updated properly? Just curious what anyone else has seen.
Thanks. That at least lets me know that ABC 13 isn't planning to put some local programming on instead of it. I guess Directv just needs to update their guide.
No doubt. As much as I liked American Crime Story, the whole time I wished there was a long form documentary on the trial that could really cover multiple aspects like that. And now that it's here, I'm pissed that I might miss the first episode.
Just saw this. Guess I'll just wait and watch it tomorrow instead of streaming it on Watch ESPN tonight.
How the hell did OJ get away with murder. He had blood in the bronco and a history of domestic abuse.
I assumed (and fully accepted) he was going to get convicted like Tyson for similar reasons, it seemed like the only one who skated back then was William Kennedy Smith; who awkwardly enough has become a pretty decent human being.
They did the same thing to the season finale of Shark Tank. They instead aired the flood benefit concert at Lakewood Church.
Saturday night has been the worst night for broadcasting since movie studios dumped all their cash into Thursday nights for trailers, probably doubly so in the summer. If there are extra revenue streams from broadcasting a local, sponsored event this is probably the best time to do it.
Supposed to be 8 hours total with 5 episodes I think? First one is on ABC then switches to ESPN. Jeff Van Gundy was talking about it during the finals yesterday
Some of the comments made inn this documentary wow. "OJ was African but he was good looking, it's almost like he had white features"
