Would you guys rather keep Brewer or Dump Brewer (having to use assets to do so like a combo of KJ or Dekker, picks etc) and then sign Dudley to a contract similar to Brewers? Obviously I'd rather have Dudley, but i'm not sure the upgrade is worth the assets we'd have to give up.
At the peak of his prime, I definitely think we should sign him. I'm sure whether corey is here or not he will more than likely not be in the rotation. Probably the one positive of hiring Mike D.
I'm for this. Especially if we can still somehow fit in a max deal and more. We need to shed contracts and bring guys in that fit the MDA system.
At least somebody thinks of defense... He's a very good 3 n D player. If only Harden can be swapped with Butler, now that would be awesome.
You know, the thing I like about Dudley is that he's smart and very efficient. The other thing I enjoy about him is that he's a valuable locker room presence and perhaps will be a good guy to pair with James. Another thing I enjoy about him is that he is capable of running with a team that is high in pace despite looking like nonathletic. The problem is that the Rockets don't have a foundation in place. We have James Harden and that's like it. A guy like Dudley is a luxury player. Not a guy that you want to come and play big minutes and change the landscape of the team. Yes, I know no one is askimg him to do that. He's a guy that can come in and give you a solid 20 minutes of spreading the floor and smart basketball. I'd like Dudley on the Rockets, but I'm more concerned about building a foundation first so we can actually make players like Dudley useful on the team. I mean I guess we can try if he wants to come though. Doesn't hurt the team at all. Might even start a good 20 games if he is signed.
wow.. It's come down to Dudley talk for the Rockets Well I guess every organization needs to start somewhere. Wishing luck on every acquired players through trade or other means.
