It's a sign of the times we live in that a thread like this has just 5 posts so far. It's becoming a regular occurrence and society is getting desensitized from such deplorable acts. very unfortunate
I think because it was "just" a murder-suicide and not a random mass shooting that there is less interest.
Better outcome than the rumors that this was a planned attack where four coordinated individuals were going to start killing people en masse. That would have been bad.

Apparently a professor wouldn't let student graduate, student gets mad and kills the professor and himself.
Better question: why does everyone on the internet have a joke telling contest when something like this happens? People are dead, it's not funny or clever.
Have a friend there who was on lockdown, and his kid was in UCLA daycare, also on lockdown. It's just the new norm. It'd hard to pin the most stupid: the entitlement of some students in college these days (where I work and just received a record # of "can you change my grade" requests), our growing societal issue with anger management, or our obsession with guns as solutions to anything. EDIT: I guess I should open carry in my office for those certain cranky students who aren't happy with the C's they richly earned. Right, NRA? First I get the fear, then I buy your firearm. Then magical good things keep happening.
Those signs only work in UK, Germany, Australia, etc. Gun nuts can't read it and have problems thinking.
Well we all know Bobby made a snide, insincere clown post. I just tried to stoop to his level with an equally bad post. On the whole Bobby's argument is that more guns = more safety while mine is that less guns = more safety. Considering there has never been any country in history that one could say has been safer with more weapons, and that all statistics point to the exact opposite conclusion, it's clear that we are dealing with a deranged, delusional poster.
The irony is that you could be armed to the teeth and someone could still walk up to you and blow your brains out. Someone who wants to kill you doesn't care about your concealed hand gun license or the rifle strapped to your back.
