Yep, unfortunately Les made his move as expected. But what about free agency? Do you think D'Antoni is going to have a positive or negative impact with top tier free agents? And last thing, do you think he's going to have some power in choosing the players to target? Personally i'm scared as **** right now, i think D'Antoni actually give us a better opportunity to eventually sign Llull and Gentile, but i fear Les is going to give him some power on this side and we end up throwing huge money to guys like Ryan Anderson, Jennings, Marvin Williams, Jeff Green, Ilyasova...again, scared as ****.
Nic Batum, Ryan Anderson, Jeremy Lin, Jared Dudley all should be high up on the priority list. Batum specifically should be #1.
Why do people just throw random names out and not think about how players actually perform? Batum just had his best season in a while... maybe of his career. On the Hornets. With the 18th fastest pace in the league. His last above-average season on the Blazers was when they were also slower in pace, 18th in the league. They sped their offense up the last two years a bit, 12th in pace, and Batum's performance dipped. Why is Batum somehow the perfect fit for MDA? Maybe the guy actually plays better in a slower paced offense?

What's that? We're trading for Stoudemire and Marion, signing Joe johnson, and Nash is coming out of retirement? The band's getting back together.
Some of those pissed about this move might be bigger fans than the sheeple just going along with whatever comes next. It's because I've been a lifelong fan that I'm shocked and in dismay at this hire, and will likely consumer the product less and less going forward ... while still being a fan.
It is going to be an interesting free agency period now, personally I think this team has no hope of attracting any top free agents. I would be tempted right now to offer up James for Russell and Pick 2 plus try and squeeze more out of the Lakers. I am positive James will leave after his contract is up in 2 years now.
ask the gods why do they proceed to ram c*ck in f**kin ass for so f **kin long? this bullsht is getting so f**kin old. in one day - dantoni hired, dwight likely return, and harden all nba team snub. what else what else? parsons return for the max. offseason emphasis is more offense, less defense. keep harden as the pg with no help on that end. and of course, a useles defensive assistant.
