I have listened about twice through now. Jeez. I mentioned earlier in the thread how Identikit was one of the unreleased gems. Well, it is even more amazing now. The numbers is one of the better songs I have heard in my life. Obviously Burn The Witch and daydreaming are top notch. 7 or 8 out of the 11 tracks are stellar. I don't want to go comparing it to Kid A but it might get there.
Usually Radiohead albums take a few listens to get into but I liked this instantly. I am sure it'll get better with more listens.
Not sure which track is my favorite but this is definitely better than King of Limbs. Glad to see Radiohead came thru. This might be the deciding factor in going to ACL this year
I am on the fence about where they took True Love Waits...it feels like awkwardly running into someone you dated 10 years ago... but on the plus side...at least they will be playing it on tour now.
Why isn't this available on Spotify yet or did you all buy it through iTunes? I can't even get Google Play to load, such a crappy music app. I get it for free by being a Youtube Red payee but never use it. I. WANT. TO. HEAR! Googled, guess he sums it up well, ****er. lulz.
My wife got it on Itunes. 11 songs..... None bad. My ranking below top to bottom is best to worst. Identikit Decks Dark True Love Waits Daydreaming Burn The Witch Glass Eyes The Numbers Ful Stop The Present Tense Desert Island Disk Tinker Sailor Kid A, OK computer and In Rainbows are probably my 3 favorite albums of all time. This is right there.
**** iTunes, Spotify, Google Music, etc. Radiohead is one of the only bands I will actively give my money to. Just pay them the 11 ****ing bucks and buy it from the website and load it wherever you want. Right now I'd rank them: Decks Dark Identikit Burn the Witch Present Tense Ful Stop True Love Waits Daydreaming Glass Eyes The Numbers Desert Island Disk Tinker Tailer Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief
