This is the Kings list of candidates(so far). Expect much of the same names being linked to Houston. Spoiler Ettore Messina James Borrego Sam Mitchell Vinny Del Negro Mike Woodson Kevin McHale David Blatt Henry Bibby Patrick Ewing Mark Jackson Nate McMillan Jeff Hornacek Corliss Williamson Jay Larranaga Brian Shaw Ime Udoka Elston Turner Jeff Van Gundy Monty Williams Luke Walton(GS) Kenny Atkinson(BRK) Scott Brooks(WAS) Tom Thibodeau(MIN)
Add shaka smart and bill self Gotta love shaka idea. His havoc defense is what we are missing. https://youtu.be/D4mik35nLJE How many times have we given up easy inbound layups
The Kings will end up with someone between Vinny, Hornacek, Woodson...coaches that have no chance to be hired somewhere else imo.

I said it in another thread....Morey creating a circus to delay having to pick a coach. He does not want to have anyone until we start the recruiting of Durant. His only chance of getting Durant is to allow him to pick his next coach. This is the way Morey thinks and do yourself a favor and don't get worked up over these hacks he is interviewing the next several weeks.

Lol. I'm waiting for them to consider Geno Auriemma: all that guy does is win Clyde Drexler: coaching experience and he lives here Jason terry: hell, he interviewed for a college job this year This coaching search could be a reality show
Good. However wasn't Kenny next to Les in one of the last two games vs the Warriors? I'm scared of Les at this point.
Jeff Hornacek, that's my top coach. He was in a bad situation in Phoenix with the crappy organization doing terrible moves, switching point guards and trading good players. No coach would have done a good job with that crappy organization. But Jeff Hornacek did a brilliant job with the Suns in his first year. Their offense under him was so fun to watch and it was a top 10 offense. They missed the playoffs, but only by one game. They could of done something special under him if the Suns' organization wasn't so stupid doing bad deals. Jeff Hornacek is a natural leader and type of coach the Rockets need. I hope he gets a job some where, he's a good coach and can be great.
