    Fun Fact:

Despite lining up at receiver, Miller had 43 rushing attempts (for 261 yards) vs only 25 receptions (for 340 yards) last year.

How many jet sweeps will the Texans run next year?

LOL, no it's not "suspicious", saying ridiculous things like that is a good way to lose any credibility you might otherwise have.

That said, don't get it twisted, I blame BOB for the QB situation, he's the one that wanted Fitz, he's the one that wanted Hoyer. It's BOB's fault that we've had to put up with garbage QB's. I don't really blame Smith because I don't thing he has ever had much say over what the team does. People blame Smith for not being a "real" GM, one that makes those kinds of decisions.

On the other hand, the way the Texans did things, they managed to build up a pretty good team that was only lacking a QB and now they might have that so it may have worked out in the end.

Miller guarantees we only carry 2 QBs on the 53. Gonna be Brock and Savage.

BoB has always carried 3 QBs on the roster. Miller won't change that. Not that it really matters though.

Breaking news: Rick Smith just announced, "we think Braxton can be our starting QB. We got a 1st round QB in the third." #winningthedraft

My Ohio St diehard alumni friend actually thinks they under utilized Miller last year and should have or could have thrown him the ball more. I am expecting him to be very good for us.

But BOB never had a Miller. I think it's tempting to add ST depth on the 53 and sacrifice Weeden. Miller can definitely hand off, run wildcat, and can even throw a few routes if called upon due to injuries.

Just my opinion but think BoB would rather hand things off to a vet QB than a rookie that has thrown 1 pass in last 2 years. That's not a knock on Miller but BoB has started 7 different QBs (mainly due to injuries) so would think he'd rather have a viable 3rd stringer ready to go than a rookie drafted as a WR.

That's not to say Miller wouldn't be capable or that we won't see him in the wildcat at times, but being a full time QB when push comes to shove is a different story.

Not full time, emergency time. If Brock or Savage were going to be out any extended period of time of course we'd bring in a vet.

I'm strictly talking about gameday roster management and the creativity a guy like miller could provide a gameday roster. Similar to how Lechler is/was the emergency QB. Doesn't have to be anymore.

Anyone know what his jersey number is going to be?

Looks like Fuller grabbed 15 (press conference photos). I figured that would be Braxton's number as he wore both 1 and 5 in college.

It seems like certain teams have traditional numbers, and than others all the receivers are in the teens... not sure why?
