Big fan of chocolate milk here and I'm wondering what you guys think about which brand is the best... I love good old fashioned nesquick if I'm making it myself but I think their premixed kind is kinda whack. Horizon is my ish!!!
Not a fan and really only drank it back in the lower grades of school before they offered soda. It seemed the only choices you had were milk or chocolate milk (aside from water). I did have a nostalgia moment at the grocery store several months back when I saw this liquid concentrate you make chocolate milk with. I thought I would try it out and it turned out to be gross as hell. That...or I really can't appreciate the taste of chocolate milk any more. I guess I prefer it to be already mixed with the milk for starters.
The local do-nut shop has Borden. I really like it. I will drink any that is WHOLE milk. The 2% and low fat stuff just doesn't taste good. If I buy in bulk (hardly ever) I buy Promised Land from the grocery store.
Central Market Chocolate Milk is the best. They use to keep it at HEB but Now you can only find it at Central Market which freaking sucks.
I haven't had it in decades. But I can't imagine that my ideas on it have changed. Any chocolate milk that is pre-made is way too sweet. Nesquik powder is by far the best.
Yeah something is definitely wrong with that crap. Not sure what, but it is horrible. I go with Bordens is good, I can also tolerate Promised Land.
