Wouldn't be bad for the Spurs. Duncan replacement. Five years younger than Timmy and if Timmy can be a contributor at 40, Pau can too. But that's a loaded front court...who do they get let go?

    If Timmy retires:

    Aldridge/ West
    Gasol/ Diaw/ Boban

Would piss me off if he went to spurs. That starting lineup of Gasol, Aldridge , Leonard, green and Parker will be insane

Gasol is a smart, smart, smart player without being overtly dirty like other bigs. He's got the class to be a Spur.

And Spurs just reload without even being moderately bad

I guess these are the wonders that a well respected GM and well respected coach can do.

The Warriors are done without Curry. This year is a sure San Antonio Championship year. The organization has never won consecutive titles. Tim Duncan should retire after this championship season.

Will suck so bad if Pau goes to San Antonio. I was hoping we would go after him. San Antonio is a perfect fit though.

Makes sense. Didn't he almost sign with them instead of the bulls?

    Parker / Mills
    Green / Ginobili
    Leonard / Anderson
    Aldridge / Diaw
    Gasol / Duncan

Killer roster, + they might be able to bring back guys like Martin/West/Boban

How much cap will the Spurs have?

I like Pau, but i've always thought we're not looking to sign him, we need good players but we need the right players, Pau is just too old to be part of our core next to Harden...

I think they can have something like 25/30 millions if they clear their bench (Diaw, Mills...), Duncan and Ginobili retires (or resign for vet min) and/or they trade Green.

Just had this convo with a buddy. San Antonio will still be great after Duncan Parker and ginoboli retire. A big free agent will sign there to play with Aldridge and Leonard.

    2. Duncan retires
    3. Manu retires
    4. West retires
    5. Durant signs the max
    6. Gasol sees championship dreams and signs for a paltry $5 million a year

I think it will be a good fit for Pau. I wonder if Phil Jackson would recruit him to the Knicks.

Tell me you wouldn't reconsider, if SA wanted you.

Duncan doesn't even have to suit up for the regular season. Can just shut him down until the playoffs begin lol.
