Title is kinda misleading OP. There was no BEGGING. It was probably said jokingly at the end of the game when they were talking and laughing. Does Harden want the Lakers to beat Utah? I'm 100% certain that he does - as should any Rockets fan. Nothing wrong with the statement - I'm sure he isn't the first to say something like this and won't be the last to do so. No need to make a big deal out of it. Some of y'all just like to bash that guy no matter what. At least he wants to be in the post-season and isn't scared of facing GS, like some of the posters on here seem to be. This season has been one big mess, but let's at least cheer this team on for as many games as they have left this season...hopefully that will be more than 2 games.
Little surprised at the hate directed my way with this thread. I was only going by what NBA.COM reported . . . and they used the word, "plea." I did not have access to Clutch's video at work. So I'm sorry if my word choice touched a nerve. I also just thought it was funny, the idea of Harden pleading with Kobe to beat Utah. So I am also sorry that I found that funny.
Not only is Kobe his hero but.. He's right the Rockets (Harden in particular) need help and it's been that way all season long.
