    Because a first round pick is better than getting knocked out in the first round.
    Being middle of the road in the NBA is the worst, either be a championship contender or a lottery pick contender everything in-between is terrible.

    Because we are going to get swept in the 1st round of the playoffs and lose a draft pick. This team needs a shakeup not any glimmer of false hope.

    draft pick means nothing. They take years to develop and usually don't pan out. It's Simmons then nobody else matters.

    You can always trade the draft pick, you don't necessarily have to keep the player.

    Getting stomped in the playoffs means nothing.
