Well right now we're at $9M under the cap so after those moves we'd have about $7M for draft picks and filler.
Texans take OLB Reshard Cliett in Round Cliett's sees himself as more of a WILL-type linebacker. Bill O'Brien said. "When he came here to meet with our scouting staff and our coaching staff, we were very impressed with his football knowledge, his recollection of his own defensive scheme from college and then his recollection of some of the things we taught him. We saw a very athletic guy that could be used as a potential sub-linebacker and was a smart guy.” <hr /> At only 222, Reshard Cliett might struggle at OLB. I am guessing that the Texans see Cliett as a nickle ILB.

Texans don't have the cap room. Just hope they can resign some guys like Crick, Demps, Yates (cut Hoyer), etc and not have as many holes going into the draft. Just not enough picks for the depth they need.
Bored, looking at free agents still out there. Would anyone take a flyer on roddy white at the minimum? Also Kamar Aiken, or Wallace Gilberry. Havent looked into them, just picking people that are in the positions of need and still available. like i said, bored..

He did everything you could ask of a WR for us last year except consistently catch the football. He could get open underneath and, surprisingly considering his age, beat his man deep consistently. He just couldn't catch the football. Historically though that hasn't been a problem so he'll probably rip it up with NE.
Tells me the Pats couldn't get the "take the top off the defense" receiver they wanted so they settled on Washington. It will be interesting to see what happens.
I'll say this...he should have no problem getting open down the field in that system with so many guys that defenses are going to have to respect. If he gets rid of the dropsies, he's either going to have a crazy good year OR he's going to open up the field for the tight ends.
I think its the exact opposite for him in NE; Gronk is gonna open up the top for him since the safeties are gonna stay in the middle of the field spying him along with Edelman or Amendola running the underneaths. I thought Lafell was gonna have a huge year last year but he did not. I think Nate will though, he consistently beats one on ones, that being said he is no burner but Bradys ball boy > Hoyer, so who knows.
