Would anyone be down to shoot a little contract to Josh Brown? hes no Gostkowski, but I would like a little bit of reassurance if we are out past the 30...
Spoiler Texans coach Bill O'Brien asked if Brock Osweiler not keeping the QB job gave him any pause: "If it was anyone else besides Peyton." Bill O'Brien said he's heard Brock Osweiler and DeAndre Hopkins are getting together in Arizona to work together a bit. Bill O'Brien says first time he ever actually met Osweiler was when he first walked in the building for the introductory press conference. Bill O'Brien says Duane Brown's rehab is going well. He had a recent check-up with Dr. Lowe. Doesn't have a timeline for his return.

Agreed, just thought if it wasn't going to be too much money, might as well save the pick for another D-line and go for the more proven guy.. he was 12-12 from 30-39, 8-10 from 40-49 and 3-3 from 50+... and only missed one extra point since the change. That would be pretty good.

He'd be a pretty awesome replacement for Crick and he'd make that starting D line just ridiculous. With Watt/Wilfork or other NT/Wilkerson in the middle and Clowney and Mercilus outside....yikes.
I seriously doubt that. Novak was perfect inside 50 and there's no reason to waste a pick on a K that might not be as good. Both sides of the line, safety, TE, WR
We got two 6th rd picks picks. Use one on the kicker the other on Jakim Grant. Special teams problems solved
Novak wasn't a bad pickup off the street but having a guy that can hit from 50+ consistently is a huge weapon. He was also pretty terrible at KO which is the bigger concern for me. Haven't paid attention to any kickers in the draft but wouldn't be opposed to taking one late if worth it.
Mo Wilkerson is a beast! It's a very unique situation over there for him to be available for trade. I would try like hell to bring him in and pair him up with JJ! What do yall think about Wilfork(they lost their NT in FA), Hoyer(good backup for Fitz and maybe a little bit of leverage for them in negotiations), and our 2017 1st round pick. As far as the cap goes I think it's BARELY workable. It looks like Mo Wilkerson will be $15.7M. Trading Wilfork and Hoyer sheds ~$9M. And then cutting Shorts and Dent sheds another ~$5M. Seems like trades of this magnitude rarely happen in the NFL so I don't know who says no to this.
