Like playing more defense, Harden must accept being more off-ball. Can he conform? Need a strong coach. The entire team needs more leadership.
He's not a great three point shooter but he can knock down shots. At the least he's not going to be afraid to take them unlike Lawson
Just put Harden at the point, and find a guy that can shoot to play next to him, always felt that MT should have been given a chance for that - too late now though. DD
I was saying this way back in nov... Then I realized there was some kind of rift between Harden and MT. T_Man
bev isn't the same player after his injuries. his bulldoggedness is still there but terry plays with more pop & energy than him now.
Not sure if was ever confirmed, I never heard it, but watching them react and the way they played, it sure seemed like one existed. DD
I agree, but unless you bring in a coach that he respects, that will FORCE him to play off the ball, you might as well play to his strengths. DD
nobody knows what a good fit next to Harden is that is truly conducive to winning. A ball dominant sg isn't exactly the most enticing guy for players to come play with.
Yeah, but then you have two completely worthless defenders playing guard. It wouldn't surprise me at all to hear at some point down in the future that this was true and that it started very early on in the season... this is highly speculative, but there was just something about their body language that made me think that there was some resentment between those two from the beginning.
The rockets had the right idea with Bev, but they need someone that is a little better. But that type of pg is a good fit.
It was early in the season when McHail was still the coach... Harden and MT got into a heating argument on the floor... I believe it was in the 4th quarter... That relationship was never the same after that altercation.. T_Man
