He deserved it last year. Not sure how you can predict a superstar eating too much taco Bell and gummy worms. The only other guy I can think of to get fat like this is Shawn Kemp. Maybe Andrew Bynum
You do realize this is the same team as last year? You've been pissing and moaning all day. We get it
Yea but we suck. We have last year's team WITH a decent pg and we still suck. The culture here isn't about winning. No FA's are gonna wanna come here aslong as Harden's playing ISO ball every possession. We are a mess
he's insufferable. Whining and b****ing in every single thread, restating the same contrived two-three lines.
All whining with no real objectives solutions other than FIRE this guy, sell the team Le$. Your adolescent moaning is useless to actually finding objective solutions DD. Harden go out of shape this Summer, and the team struggled to get off to a good start PARTLY (was not nearly the only reason) because of it. What the hell are you suggesting that Morey do.... Go to Hardens agent and amend his contract because he was 10 pounds overweight? Was he not supposed to trade for Harden 4 years ago? Was he supposed to trade him after coming off and MVP level season where he took a team to the WCF? I mean wtf do you want DD? Geezus. FYI. Yes Harden deserves alot of blame but if you haven't noticed he actually started playing much better shortly after McHale was let go and the team is still mediocre. Again... Objective solutions would be productive... Adolescent b****ing with no solutions gets us nowhere.
ABDUL-JABBAR: It was going well with Andrew Bynum, but Andrew finally got to sign his contract for $50 million, and then at that point Andrew thought that I didn’t know anything and that he didn’t have to listen to me, and we don’t know where Andrew is right now. https://medium.com/conversations-with-tyler/kareem-abdul-jabbar-conversations-with-tyler-13b6d4719883#.2yhatm9sd
^funny how if he continued being even a small percentage of his former self, he would have easily been paid more than $50m
I agree. I love Dmo, and I will continue to root for him (as long as its not at the expense of the Rockets). But, trying to be rational about it, last season was his breakout season and then he had surgery on his back and hasn't really played since. It's not like he had this long proven track record, and he hasn't yet recovered. Wish him success, but Morey got good value for him given the lack of certainty.
Harden is making Chandler Parsons money; he's nowhere near the supermax. Last season's ratio of {usage+win-shares : salary} for Harden was off the charts. Yes, he was among the league leaders in DWS. Easily among the highest value contracts in the history of the current CBA.
His weight is not his main problem... It's his attitude, desire and dedication to play the game on both ends... Harden has fell in love with the glamour.... T_Man
