Brewer might suck so far this season, but he is due a slump buster. The guy was nails last year. I don't want to give up on him yet.
I don't think that idea is lost on anyone, but 25'ish year old rotation players, that aren't headcases, aren't readily available. They definitely are not available for a Terrence Jones type price. Defensive wings are hard to come by as it is, but i think Tucker would be a positive on the team's culture overall despite his age.
Get the Harden stopper before we face them tomorrow. Harden is behind this move so he can get numbers tomorrow!

No. Has a $1.5 million guarantee for next season. That's it. This isn't new news. We've known for a while that we've been talking to them about PJ Tucker (along with Markieff if Markieff decides to do a Lawson and non-guarantee his deal for the final 3 seasons). There is a lot of synergy with PHX wanting to dump salary and rebuild and us wanting to dump salary and partially rebuild IF Markieff is willing to non-guarantee his deal to get out of there. We could conceivably dump Brewer in a deal to PHX if Markieff non-guarantees his deal and PHX would still be getting a partial salary dump as well as we would. BTW, Codman revealed to us something else that some of us have suspected. We're gonna have a difficult time dumping Brewer's deal. I have speculated for some time that Ariza would be the one traded because we need to dump salary and we could conceivably get an asset (pick/youngster) for Ariza while Brewer would likely cost us an asset. IF we could acquire Tucker, Markieff (on non-guaranteed deal), and Price from PHX then we could conceivably turn this trade into a 3-way with Utah involving Lawson as well, sending Burke and possibly another expiring deal to PHX. along with Brewer. PS: Tucker and Ilyasova are ideal contracts for Morey to trade for. Small guarantees for next season. Can be traded and then released for very little money. Or could be released and stretched for a very small cap hit.
It's not a fiasco. Teams are always discussing a bunch of possibilities. It's not like the Rockets keep changing their mind and flip flopping just because the information that comes out makes it seem that way.

he has already had that. People get on Brewers case whenever he has a bad game but in his last 10 games he is shooting 44 percent 45 percent in February after shooting 42 percent in January i don't think he is in a slump but people expect him to shoot 100 percent every game
