Great coaching today...

 

Didn't follow the game, just saw the score. It's atrocious. Why did Josh Smith get only 9 minutes? Is he injured? Bickerstaff and the entire coaching staff need to go IMO. Bickerstaff has no control over the team, and no idea how to get us out of this mess.

Our trading assets barring H and H are low, this is compounding our problems to a great extent.

 

Change the coach and change the strategy.. Simple basketball dump the ball to howard at the post and when the double comes find the open man.. Thats simple. Howard is still howard if we give him a chance.. There are no plays for him. Still in any given night he can dominate if he wanted to.. How can we lure durant if our team is messing up.. Go rockets

I remember people saying "give them time to gel!" when Dwight first came to HOU. Well now his contract is almost up and Dwight/Harden still haven't gelled.

rockets are disrespecting fans with an awful assistant coach, why should we still watch?

 

The things is... even when the offense is "good" it's hardly pleasing for the eyes. With a game like this I feel ready to gouge them out.

I'm rooting for the team, even like most of our guys individually. But this is so painful to watch. I prefer to read the box scores than see a rockets game this year.

 

Wow didn't realize this was a home game. Well that's just effin great man! What do we do now, man? Sit around a camp fire and sing some songs? FU Rockets!

 

This team, just like the coaching and rotations, is wildly inconsistent. Morey and Les have punted this season by retaining JB. No realistic move will make us better than first round fodder, unfortunately.

Totally agree. That's what I've started doing, which is kind of sad. It just doesn't consistently rise to the level of "professional basketball." It's more like somebody's touring nonprofit exhibition team. "Come see former greats run up and down the court! See Dwight Howard dunk, maybe, and see that one beard guy do a step back as the clock winds down! All proceeds to benefit the march of dimes."

 

Bro, Josh Smith was so bad it was miraculous. Trust me, it felt like he was out there for 40 minutes. It was terrible. It's amazing JB rolled with him for as long as he did.

 

And just houstons luck they play golden state on tuesday during a NATIONALLY TELEVISED GAME !

JBB: Individual thing. Each guy has a responsibility to perform a duty. You gotta prepare yourself to play. The first two halves last couple games, we haven't done it. We'll get to the bottom of it and figure it out.

(Later asked): You say you'll get to the bottom of it but as it gets repetitive...

JBB: That's our job: keep working at it. We won't quit until we figure it out.

I seriously doubt JBB doesn't know what is wrong when TONS of us posting on this board can easily see it.

What I don't think he has is the juice to change it.
