Good PR move for Cruz to advocate for Fiorina. But, I think I can rule out gender discrimination as the motivation for ABC to not invite her. They have more to gain from including a woman. I think they want to stick to the formula they set for qualification for the appearance of impartiality. Why jump to some kind of sexism without some specific indication?
Because of the Democrat's "War on women" lie. Having Carly Fiorina up on stage is a searing reminder to everyone watching what a bold-faced lie all of that is. And ABC is in the tank for the Democrats, make no mistake about it.
" Because of the Democrat's war on women?" So laughable... Maybe these agreed upon rules don't make sense to the Fiorina camp now. But if anyone is having a "war on women", or perhaps more precisely, a 'war on this particular woman", it is the Republican voting base, as Firino has what, 2% polling for her?
I'm sorry. I know you're trying to deflect from other Cruz issues right now, but this line of argument makes no logical sense. Why is having a far right-wing female candidate, (polling incredibly poorly with the GOP base, for what that's worth), in any way a refutation of a criticism of party talking points, as long as she advocates the same talking points? (In fact, she speaks some of them, a la the fraudulent allegations against planned parenthood, with uncommon vehemence.) Her gender is not meaningful when it comes to policy. I think you want her gender, and her very temporary candidacy, to wipe away the criticism against the GOP. Voters need deeds or even words. But not just a candidate's junk.

Seems like the only people who like Cruz are people who either make money off of him or don't really know him
I still don't find this conspiracy theory very credible. I doubt anyone changes their impressions of Republican attitudes about women's rights just because there is a woman up on stage. The only people who would take it as evidence are those who already agree and identify with those Republican attitudes and are looking for confirmation. Having a black candidate at the Republican debates hasn't blunted any criticism of racism plaguing the party.
Since her playmates dropped out, they either need to bump her to the main stage or drop some others to the kiddie table. Second option might be more fun.
No one needs to change their impressions, as not many other than the usual knee-jerk Democrat leftists believe this drivel anyway. What is helpful is the reminder of how FOS those people are, which Carly Fiorina helpfully provides. Criticism of racism? From who? From a group of people that voted to elect a president because of the color of his skin? LOL. Clearly, the Democrats are shouldering their own perceptions of racism. However, in the case of the Democrats, there is actually a legitimate reason to warrant those perceptions.
You want to know who's really biased against women like Carly Fiorina? Misogynistic woman hater Carly Fiorina - who abandoned her Iowa Victory Party and all of its guests due to nonexistent snowstorms: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/CarlyFiorina">@CarlyFiorina</a> no show at her party as <a href="https://twitter.com/BernieSanders">@BernieSanders</a> on the tv <a href="https://twitter.com/WHOhd">@WHOhd</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/iacaucus?src=hash">#iacaucus</a> <a href="https://t.co/hmi6wZK4Pw">pic.twitter.com/hmi6wZK4Pw</a></p>— Roger Riley (@rogerriley) <a href="https://twitter.com/rogerriley/status/694383994264272896">February 2, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> (this is a real photo from this week, lmfao). How are women like Carly Fiorina ever supposed to get ahead, when hypocritical haters like Carly Fiorina keep holding them down!
When everybody calls you a scumbag, they're not just blowing hot air. Waiting for MojoMan et al to chime in and blame CNN---especially when CNN never aired anything indicative of what the Cruz campaign is alluding to. People support those most like themselves I guess. How is a hoax when the perpetrator has admitted to doing it---apologizing for receiving misinformation as a justification? How naive are you
Fiorina finished 7th in Iowa and is polling at 2% nationally. Somehow you have turned the choices of Republican voters into a Democratic conspiracy theory. LOL Jesus.
How naive are you to readily accept information at face value and accept it because it goes along with your bias?
