You can blame the refs for choosing to make these calls. But you have to realize - how freaking long has Dwight been in this league? Why is he giving the refs the opportunity to make these calls? He did not need to slap the ref's hand tonight - nothing good will come out of it, only bad possibly. In the OKC game, the push that he got called on didn't even help him any. Annoying.
He's a fool. Clueless to the situations he puts himself in. People say the calls on him are weak, which is true, but he does countless stupid gestures towards the refs that he has to know are going to be called on him.
There is literally nothing less he could do except not play bball to not get called for fouls/techs and he still gets called for them. Refs are out to get him, simple as that. No other big man in the league gets called for less.
Yes, if you have been in the league 11 years and you are still making the SAME ****ING DUMB ASSED pushing fouls out of frustration - you are not all that smart. Sure, they suck, sure they are not fair, but doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of stupid. DD
Hilariously false. Dwight baits the refs. He does it every game. He gets frustrated, he gestures to the refs, he goes on with it for way too long, and he gets T'd up. It happens nearly every game and he never learns.
He has to look out for himself. It's easy to say let them beat you up all game and take it from you desk.
He did the same thing with the Lakers. He'd get tossed out quickly because he can't control himself and take a little physicality. Costs you in the playoffs
If he doesn't do that and he lets it slide then they will keep doing that to him. GUESS WHAT HE WAS RIGHT AND THEY CALLED THE FLAGRANT. He has to let them know what Dudley did was bush league and ballers know it can result in you landing funny and quickly getting hurt.
What a ridiculous witch hunt. These are human beings on a basketball court. No one thinks about their history with the officials of the NBA in a moment of frustration. He was watching himself after the first tech, but there were 3 consecutive plays where the refs missed calls and on one of those Nene nearly hyper extended his elbow on the night after he was stupidly ejected out of a big game. Even the people who get better at managing their anger in the NBA would have lost it in that moment. Dwight led us as long as he was on the court, and for the second straight game the refs screwed us. Obviously, if Dwight hadn't lost his temper he would still be in the game but that's not a realistic expectation unless you've never played a competitive game in your life, or you're - ironically - reacting angrily to what happened.
If the refs call the flagrant, no tech and we go to OT. If the refs call the time out, no tech and the Rockets win.
The calls Marc Gasol gets compared to Dwight are insane. They must have chapters on specifically how to call each player because Gasol gets touch fouls left and right, especially in close games in the last minutes. Dwight needs to man the eff up though.
You guys know that Dwight knows EXACTLY what he is doing.....or he has not grown up enough to control himself. Either option is NOT good... DD
So you telling me the entire Clippers team and coach get T every game, because they go on the refs like any other team. Have you seen Lebron, he complain and gestures every single game, basically you can go down the list of superstars and they all b**** and gestures the refs.
pretty sure Dwight will move up to NUMBER ONE in technicals after tonight's game: http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/fouls/sort/technicalFouls
