I'm surprised they fired the WR coach, the others not so much

This was the Texans best wide receiving core ever! Why did they fire him?!

Who said that? It's a running joke around here.

When does the tight ends coach get fired? By far the worst.

Why don't we just fire the offensive coordinator? Demote Godfrey back to QB coach or whatever his role was and bring in an actual coordinator.

I agree with you, but at the same time, you can't polish a turd and expect it to shine. Our tight ends are the worst unit in the NFL.

Bill O'Brien needs to be next if this offense/QB situation continues to be a joke next year. I hope his arrogant ass was greatly humbled by Saturday's **** show.

Billy brought Stan Hixon with him from Penn State
Hixon had previous NFL experience with Washington('04-'09) & Buffalo('10-'11)

Bob Ligashesky took over when Kubiak & Marciano were let go; O'Brien kept him.

Anthony Pleasant was a "defensive assistant". He was assistant S&C coach last year. DL coach for Kansas City from '10-'12.

    Who could we have gotten.

Team is one piece away(albeit major) before taking off!

I want to see him with a QB.

If you're asking about what QB the team could have gotten, this has been talked about ad nauseam since OB has been here (Carr, Garropolo, Bridgewater, etc. for starters) Also I'm not sure I trust OB doing anything with a QB that would be anything special. People keep acting like he worked wonders for the 50 million QBs that have played for the team since he's been coach but none of them have been able to stick. Let's be real, the offense which is his baby is a joke and the only reason this team was relevant this year was because of a sorry division and the defense. I'm not saying he needs to be fired this off season but he shouldn't get another year past next year if this offense is still a major question mark.

Nate Washington had a quote where he said all his(or their) drops wasn't a concern since it was a result of the passing volume. I hated that and if the WR coach had any influence on that attitude I'm glad he's gone.

Strong coming to the defense of his coach.
