I don't agree with you about Montana, but I sort of agree with you here. I was expecting so much more from the two new characters. Then in this episode we see the girl acting much tougher than anyone her age has a right to. THAT seemed forced to me. Only good thing I can say about it is that it definitely had me thinking, WTF? I certainly didn't see it coming.
On the Sopranos thread we complain that that don't resolve any story lines and on Deadwood it resolved too quickly. I do sorta agree more could have been done with the duplicitous young couple, we didn't even get to se her nekkid.

wow, that's kind of shocking. this show started off great, but worsened/got boring quickly. i remember barely understanding what was going on by the end of it. i'd bet they do a good job with this movie though.
huh? I'm thinking most fans will say that Swearengen got better and better every season. And Wu, too. And actually, each season had new characters that added something fresh each season.
What, plot-wise? I'm not feeling that. Plus, new characters were fresh. Put it this way. cardpire says 2 and 3 were bad. You say only 3 was bad. I'm chiming in to say I loved them all. I don't think I'm the only one. It's just varying opinions, "unfortunately."
