Texans can win this, but it'll come down to the turnover battle. I think Hoyer will struggle with Brown being out and their pass rush being exceptional. However, Im hopeful that we can give him enough time and space to be able to make some quick throws. We also need to take some shots downfield to Hopkins. I know Hoyer doesn't do that much, but it needs to happen. As far as our defense, I don't see the Chiefs moving the ball much on us. I actually think our offense has more of an edge on their defense than their offense against our defense. However, we just can't make stupid turnovers because we know that Alex Smith is the ultimate game manager and wont **** up the game. The game will be won or lost on field position.
craigmeister has spoken, it is what it is. take one snap at a time. at the end of the day, but not so close to midnight, you leave all out on the field.
Football is so hard to predict. The Texans have been really good lately... against relatively bad competition. They only have 1 really good win all year, and that was against the Bengals (which I discount, even if unfairly... because they're the Bengals!) Of course, it's not like the Chiefs have a ton of amazing wins in their recent run either. Everyone plays such an unbalanced schedule its hard to make predictions. The Texans have a good chance of winning, because the game is at home, their defense is seemingly locked in and the Chiefs are probably an average team on the whole, slightly better than the Texans overall, but close enough. That the Chiefs are slightly favored by Vegas makes sense.
I can see us squeekin it out and I can see us getting blown out, again turnovers will be the key. Godsey better be on his game and stop with the incomplete pass on 1st down then running up the middle on 2nd for minimal gain.
Is it me or does anyone else think Godsey's voice might sound like Windel on Frisky Dingo; http://youtu.be/epnizP2bvuk
I don't think that guy has ever picked the Texans to win a game. If they played Rice he would pick Rice
dang, Justin Houston is officially back for the Chiefs for this game? That is seriously BAD NEWS for the Texans.
Hasn't played with live bullets in a month with an iffy knee. I am not that worried. There will be a fatigue factor as well that could play dividends in the Texans running game.
It was borderline for me. Fine including it. My reasoning was the Jets were Jekyl and Hyde'ish themselves, of course are not a playoff team (granted with a better record then the Texans)... But sure, include them. 2 "good" wins.
