But really this team just needs a PF who can hit a shot and rebound and we would easily have a 6 win swing if not more at the moment. JH and DH are not the problems. That PF position is killing us every game.
Really? I'll admit that I don't watch a lot of Bulls games... but I have watched a LOT of harden defense.... Realizing its not the end all tell all statistic, but among SGs Butler is #6 at .68 DRPM while harden is #66 at -1.73 So I have to ask, really?
Rockets aren't close, and GS looks unstoppable. Trades shouldn't be championship or bust, so that rules out older veterans.
Motiejunas + McDaniels for Schröder + Muscala + Hardaway Jr. TJones + Brewer + Dekker for Markieff + PJ Tucker Lawson for Calderon + Seraphin Schröder / Beverley / Calderon Harden / Thornton / Terry Ariza / Tucker / Hardaway Jr. Morris / Harrell / Muscala Howard / Capela / Seraphin
I know he's been a production zombie for a year or two partly due to the emergence of Draymond Green, but how about a trade for David Lee (Boston) to obtain more consistency at the PF position. Obv, he's not the stud he once was but not long ago he was a sure fire 15-15 guy. Now he's wasting away in Boston (rather play young players), and word is they are open to trading him....why not?
Boston want to get rid of Lee badly! Read some forum stuff, he's "old", he's don't play D and don't fit Boston schemes.. Bus I don't see how it helps us
Boston is holding onto Lee on the chance they can snag a star-level player using his expiring and their stockpile of first round picks.
Anything not nailed down for first round draft picks - IF you can get them. Basically everyone with the exception of Harden.
Surrounding Harden with 1st round picks won't do any good unless we plan on flipping them, but then we would have to connect contracts with them. We need quality young players that have been developed and are ready to contribute, Harden is 26 and putting him next to a bunch of Rookies won't do us any good as their primes won't lineup with Hardens. Good/solid players 27 or under is what I hope we will be looking for.
3 way huge mega deal. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=gpsmczc Rockets IN : Morris, Chandler, Birdman, and WhiteSide Suns IN : Ty Lawson, Luol Deng, J.McRoberts, and Gerald Green + Pick(s) Miami IN : D.Howard, T.Jones, and T.J. Warren Looks good all around. Suns get a playmaker(Bledsoe out), and some huge expiring, picks. Miami will look beast with a lineup of Howard,Bosh,Warren,Wade, Dragic. Houston gets Whiteside, and strong back up center, and Morris ..
By the end of the year Rox become best team in the league. At least Lowry leader on the practice and on the court..
You don't want Chandler. Hell to the NAW. Were you the guy who proposed another deal involving Tyson Chandler? Take him out of all equations. You think Dwight is declining? At least we didn't sign him to a huge multi-year deal (although we still might, who knows).
Is there any reasonable trade that can obtain Whiteside? Playing with the trade machine netted nothing that seemed viable unless a third team gets involved (Boston/Indiana/Chicago?)
