Oh for sure, I somehow blocked that out. He had arguably the best game of his career, that can't happen again.
I would like to see the Texans let Merciless play WOLB all game. Let him be comfortable. Move Clowney around the line and let Watt free lance as well. Demolish there line.
They just played a close game with the Raiders. Oakland is improved but we have a decent shot with the way our D is playing.
They've been playing all 3 of them more and more ever since the Texans defense turned things around, I think they will continue. If Mercilus continues to be able to beat a single blocker, he should be able to feast alongside Watt and Clowney. It's just a damn shame that Crick has played so poorly.
This in my opinion is a bad matchup for the Texans primarily because good defenses cause issues for Hoyer...that being said, in the playoffs... everyone tends to elevate their game. I expect a much more competitve match up this time around. The Texans better have an answer for those short dump off routes and screen passes galore from Andy Reid.
Chiefs with a strong front 7. Hoyer gets happy feet when feeling pressured. Our best O lineman is gone for the season. Who's up for some wildcat?
If we play Saturday, I hope it's Saturday night. I keep on reading that the Vikings cannot play Saturday night due to something at UM, so if that's the case, hopefully Green Bay starts the weekend at Washington, Houston plays the late game vs KC.
#Texans will play the Chiefs Saturday at 3:35 at NRG Stadium in the Wildcard round of the AFC playoffs.
