This is a horrible draft class for qbs. After Goff and Wentz its a huge dropoff. Zeke in rd 1 and Wentz in rd 2 is what I'm hoping for

I'd be thrilled with Wentz in 1 and Booker in 2.

I think Booker could have a better career than Zeke, to be honest.

Have you watched any of the game?

He was playing fairly well, not great, and then he got injured. In the first half....

Threw a pick, which wasn't his fault. He did make some plays though. He even threw the ball a few times after hurting his shoulder.

Well if the injury is serious, it could cause him to fall to the 4th or 5th round. If BOB is just insistent on drafting him, I'd be fine with wasting a 5th round pick on him.

I doubt it's too bad because he was throwing with it. Took at least two attempts after hurting it. Basically tells me it's probably not a fracture, and hopefully not a rotator cuff.

And yes, I'm on board with that. Hell, I'd grab him in the third if he fell that far. Get Nassib in the first and Booker in the second, or something like that. Nassib and Watt would be amazing.

I kind of doubt the Texans are in the market for another DE, I mean, I know Crick is going to be a FA, but I doubt he commands very much money.

Um....Hackenberg would stay in school in the injury is serious. He is a junior. Why risk your draft status? play another year in college.

This. Hackenberg is not worth a 3rd compared to the other qbs in the draft.

Another bad season could hurt his draft status even more though.

Come to think of it, Cardale would be the perfect qb to be coached up by a QB coach. Picking Elliot in the first then pairing him with his favorite qb in the second would the perfect draft from the get go.

Still holding on to the delusion that Cardale is an NFL QB? Maybe an H back.

Texans have to go for more offensive weapons. The defense has been addressed very well, and the offenses seems to get neglected at times. Though, they have picked some great defensive early rounders.

Hackenberg declared. This obviously a kid who thinks Bill O'brien needs a QB and he is counting on him to draft him. Problem with that....BoB has never drafted a Penn State player. That would be a mistake on Hackenberg's part to count on the Texans to draft him.

If the Texans dont take Hackenberg, Get ready for Hackenberg's family to say "he promised us......". This is why u don't trust Coaches in recruiting and in the draft process.

I have heard that within Hackenberg's inner circle is O'Brien and Trent Dilfer, among others. I truly believe O'Brien will draft Hackenberg.

And I am more than okay with that. It probably won't be in the second, which kind of sucks, but if we can get a play maker in the second and third, I'm okay with it. Devontae Booker and Sterling Shepard or Pharaoh Cooper. That would be a great young offensive core. We'd just need a better tight end and we'd be set.
