Interesting, because if you watched the game and look at various Hornets' fan boards, most are very happy with how Lin played an important role for the Hornets' comeback and victory. He has become one of the Hornets' best defensive players (thanks to good coaching)...and everybody sees the chemistry he has with Lamb (note that Lamb and Lin had the best +/- on the team, where all the starters were in the negative.

Why wouldn't they put a lock down defender like Jeremy Lin on Curry? Didn't they want to win the game? Fire Cliffraud! Heeeheee So much funny tonight.
That would be a wrong assumption. For when I have seen their team play, their coach emphasis team defense and Lin only get to play if he play D without those crazy TOs. What I have seen is his D is much improved and that's how he gets his minutes. He sit as soon as he makes those silly mistakes. And really, you should enjoy the NBA more instead of being so focus on Lin bashing. Curry was just being Curry++ today. There was literally no player on earth that could stop him. Those deep 3 after 3 off the dribbles were a treat to witness.
