Best post of the thread. People have very short memories, Howard got a 20/20, and then 20/17 immediately after that just a few games ago.

Barkley was a mediocre player if you ignore his career statistics.

Harden clearly wants to be the only hero/alpha dog. This is why we need a new coach.

Yes he needs to grow up.

At this point, Howard is not even getting DJ touches. Paul actually runs the PnR with DJ and throws it up to him to finish. Harden IS NOT completing the PnR with Dwight. He's aborting it early, passing out before Dwight even gets the pick set, or just taking the shot himself. To compound the misery, Harden throws ridiculous 30 foot alley oops to Dwight when he sees Dwight has 2 defenders glued to him. Like to intentionally make Dwight look inefficient.

Dwight is not even getting DJ looks from Harden right now. It's totally ridiculous.

This is a pile of crap post. I'm not talking about post-ups. I'm talking about the fundamental pick-and-roll play. Dwight has hands like a vacuum cleaner, he's one of the 2 or 3 strongest players in the NBA, and probably still in the 90th percentile of most athletic players in the association. We're talking about Harden waiting for 1 second and letting Dwight set the pick and then Harden playing off that pick. Harden isn't even letting him get the pick set. Harden's skip passing before the pick is set or he's shooting the jumper before the pick is set. It's intentional and it's very easy to see.

If you don't think Dwight setting a pick and diving to the rim while Harden operates off that pick is a good play for us....then you don't know anything about basketball.

Once again, I'm not talking about post-ups. However, to your point on post-ups. Harden's shooting percentages right now are....47% and 27%. You can't really argue against Dwight's post-ups right now when Harden is jacking over 10 3's a game at 27%.

Yeah....Harden ain't that dumb. Running Pick-and-Roll early in the quarter with Dwight does 2 things. 1) It gets the opposing bigs in foul trouble and makes them have to play tentative or go to the bench. 2) It is a recipe for getting us into the bonus where Harden can really make hay.

Aborting the pick-and-roll early in the quarter is a totally stupid play by Harden. He's smarter than that. The Rockets are smarter than that. He's doing it intentionally.

Your last statement "Harden has less issues passing to Capela" refutes your own argument here. Dwight is a better pick-and-roll finisher than Capela is. he has better mits to catch and he's much stronger in the air.

Look.....it's intentional. Can't get around it. Harden is intentionally aborting the pick-and-roll play with Dwight. For crying out loud, he'll work the pick-and-roll with Terrence. There is absolutely no reason for him not to run it with Dwight. He's intentionally aborting it.

Yeah it was great seeing Lamb lead the league in scoring last year, make a deep playoff run and finish 2nd in MVP votes. Oh wait

What do you expect? People were making threads to let Dwight go and roll with Capella and it will not be any different.
People fail to understand that without Dwight we are not a contending team, he is constantly and repeatedly underrated and critisized.
And I never liked Dwight that much but it is beyond ridiculous what's going on here.

And Bill Simmons is a Celtics fan. Meaning mentally damaged.

Simmons was never a McHale fan as coach though so this is a little weird. Probably the Celtics connection that makes him feel bad for him.

This is the stupid bs I'm talking about. What is there to revisit you idiot? Rockets have only played 12 games the playoffs isn't starting tomorrow. Under the new coach they are now 1-0. Take your Feely emotions out of it and wait and see what actually happens before your ready to put down the players because of a coach getting fired.

We'll know when there's a real change when the Rockets win easily and Harden doesn't score 40+ points.

The others must find their rhythm or else Harden will do Harden things.

Ty should run the pnr with Dwight. Similar to Howard's minutes last year when Josh was here, let Capela sub early so Ty and Dwight can establish their rhythm while James is resting.
