can any avid comic book fans answer something for me? Last season after they introduced the reverse flash I googled him and wikipedia said "aka Eobard Thawne aka Professor Zoom" Is the show different from the comics or is that what happened to be the reality in one of the universes in the comic books (as there are a lot of alternate realities I think). My theory is that Thawne never died, he escaped to Earth 2 and re-jacked the body of Wells there or something. Or he's doing his mischief in Eddy's body to give us a shocker.
Professor Zoom or Reverse Flash or whatever you may want to call him has been various characters in the Flash Universe. Think of it like the "Robin" incarnations. i don't think that they would riot, but they would lose some fans here and there. But how many more viewers would be more drawn into the show? Similarly like what they did in GoT.
Nothing happened in Season 3, it happened in Season 4.... what happened was that..... Spoiler he was messing with his Atom suit and it exploded while he was working on it. Then Felicity takes over Palmer technologies and moves on to Oliver, which would have happened anyway.
Seems like Zoom's identity is going to be a big reveal. My money is on him being Spoiler either Earth 2 Barry or Earth 2 Barry's dad
I think Eddie may be Zoom. Maybe he got sucked into Earth 2 and Dr. Wells experimented on him. Would explain why Zoom hates other speedsters. Also Zoom knows Linda Park was his ex gf. There has to be some connection to him and Barry.

Yeahh.. Barry is fast enough to travel in time, but he is not faster than Zoom. Additionally Barry struggles with stopping projectiles from time to time. I really hate how they nerf his capabilities.
they definitely nerf his abilities when fights villains ie doctor light, cold etc... its annoying when you know he could literally knock them out before they even see him. Then you realize they kinda have to, otherwise there'd b zero drama or intrigue unlress every adversary was reverse flash or zoom or equally powerful.
