who could have envisioned an identical situational dirty play on him? it was twilight zone freaky. Though, I guess we cut blocked a lot that other teams were going to do it to us. but we always did it correctly.

 

I miss having immediate pressure on a QB, leading to poor decisions.

No mystery which ILB I liked before the draft... but I do recall McKinney was well thought of too.

 

He was well thought of against the run.

He sucked in coverage in college

 

And so does every ILB on the roster outside of Mike Mohammed.

 

My biggest problem with the draft has been the position drafted and not the players themselves. I understand drafting best player available but you have to consider the needs of the team. With as many holes as this team has, did they really need a CB as badly as a 1st round pick? And how many DEs are they going to draft and turn into LBs for them to realize it is better to draft players to do what they do know how to do best.

 

Oh, I don't know about that. Cushing hasn't been the same ever since he got suspended for "over training". Rick does deserve to get slammed for extending him after a major injury however. But he's looked slow to me even back in training camp. In fact, the entire team looks slow for some unknown reason.

 

I miss Wade Phillips too.

 

His Mike Pettine impersonations had me ROTFLMAO. This guy took the stink out of my day from that steaming pile dropped by the Rockets last night.
