Thanks for the kind words. We shall see. All of the analysts are picking the Cubs like Gerrit Cole and this battle-tested Pirates team are chopped liver. It's gonna quite the game.

There is a word that starts with F and rhymes with Kruk that i would like to put in front of his name after tonight's cheerleading for the Yankees. At least we crushed the dreams of the front office of ESPN this postseason. Season is already a win.

Anyone feel like this celebration is too much? I understand if for making the playoffs, but while you're in the playoffs still, there's still a bunch of work to do. But go stros.
Need to be able to beat Cueto. Supposed to come in to be their Ace but has not lived up to expectations. Also need to continue to score early. We lead MLB with runs from the 7-9, but that will be more difficult give their bullpen. Even that 4-2 record against the Royals had all those games before September, when both teams struggled. Series will probably be decided on who makes mistakes with their strengths (defense and speed) and which bullpen does rebounds best.
After some of them went through the **** show the last couple years? Let 'em celebrate [tonight]. They've earned it.
Damn.... This one felt so damn good. Can't wait till Thursday. I'm off from work, will be firing up the grill ...
Gonna sound like a Debbie Downer, but this one in particular, 2 days after the last one, is kinda silly. The Wild Card team now may have more celebrations than the better regular season teams who won their division. A tweet about how this was Jon Singleton's SIXTH champagne celebration this year cracked me up.
Just got back from the game. It was so amazing being there in Yankee Stadium and watching the Astros move forward. Will post pics later.
Yes, but times are a little different than 10-15 years ago. If the Cubs win tomorrow you will see similar. I don't get the whole "club" atmosphere that the Astros and Cubs have but it doesn't seem to hurt and the young players claim it is beneficial.
