I am the lucky guy who is supposed to bring breakfast for ~20 people at work.

What can I bring? Typical items we get are breakfast tacos (from papas, chachos), chickfila minis etc

They don't want sugary items like donuts.

    Thanks!

I think the breakfast tacos at Taco Cabana are cheap.

Krogers deli does party platters for almost everything, which includes breakfast. You can do a platter of ham and cheese croissants and a platter of danishes. I know you said they dont want sugary but who can resist danishes?

You do have to call in advance and out in an order. So if youre not in an emergency, Id go this route.

Got to go with kolaches -- especially if you are hosting people from out of state, because no other place in the country really has kolaches besides Texas, so you'll pretty much blow their minds.

Shipley's Big Earl is the way I would go.

Pretty much the sole reason bagels and English muffins exist. Chick-Fil-A also does some pig-in-a-blanket type snack with little chicken bits.

but is there a place in Houston that has real kolaches or does Sajan have to drive to La Grange, West, or a small Texas town with only one flashing yellow light where the bakery and beer joint are in the same building

Dude.... Just have your wife or girlfriend take care of it. If you are Omega, have your secretary whip something up.

    Really not that hard.
