Forgat about Josh Smith, no more talking about him. One band member left, boo hoo! We have his replacement: Ty, joining Jet & Brew! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="nl"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/RocketsMediaDay?src=hash">#RocketsMediaDay</a> selfie with <a href="https://twitter.com/TheCoreyBrewer">@TheCoreyBrewer</a> using <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TwitterMirror?src=hash">#TwitterMirror</a>. <a href="http://t.co/vjhXtdVPly">pic.twitter.com/vjhXtdVPly</a></p>— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/status/648541906679369728">28 september 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="nl"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rockets?src=hash">#Rockets</a> Jason Terry meets with the media. Hey, the more the merrier! We have a quartet ladies and gentleman, but he has to get on the court though
With Dmo on the shelf, he should see some court time. Unless Capela or Dekker pick up see minutes at the 4 spot.
There was a time when these bands roamed the earth, and gave birth to little bands that nestled symbiotically on the wrist. But there was a great tragedy. And now there only glimpses of them as they migrate through the Great Serengeti, and hide as an endangered species amongst the wild grass in the Maasai Mara. What you are seeing is rare, and was only captured on camera because national geographic tracked them to this location over the last year.
I'm still a fan of Headbanditos. If anything, it should be "Brothers of Band." But I honestly give two ****s about the weird nicknames people seem to need to give our players, I just want us to win.
I remember in the 14th overall pick era we had no guys who wore headbands or any cool arm sleeves. We were so boring. MORE HEADBANDS, PLEASE.
I didn't say it was a good nickname, I just meant grammatically. Calling the headband the "band of brothers" makes sense, calling them the same, not so much. Namsayin'?
One of the greatest shows/series ever. Not fair to use that name.... UNLESS they earn it by bejng the best group of headband wearing NBA players of all time.
no i dont but "brothers of band" is one of the worst things i've heard in my life.maybe you meant to say band of brothers? hopefully for your sake
Then I'll try to explain. Calling them the Band of Brothers is like calling them the Three Amigos. It's just a dumb name for the group that does nothing to address the fact that they wear headbands. A band of brothers would be a group with a common goal. The entire Rockets team is a band of brothers. You can call the headband "The Band of Brothers", because that would mean the focus is on the headband, which is the shared characteristic that you want to draw attention to. Brothers of Band is a ridiculously stupid name, but it makes more sense than Band of Brothers because the emphasis is on the Band as an accessory and not as another word for group. Band of Brothers = "band" means group, not headband Group of Brothers. As I've said, I think Headbanditos was the best, and also that I'm not in favor of the lame nicknames that people here like to throw around. "Omgz, Harden and Howard both start with H, let's call them H2O!" "Omgz, T-Mac's number is 1 and Yao's is 11, let's call them 111!" I hope that helps.
didnt need to explain yourself, i just dont wanna see brothers of band again. it hurts my head and im sure others as well. if ur gonna post something like that, put it in a lin thread. headband brigade was good. band of brothers is lame. the other one is attempted murder and you should be in prison
Do you seriously miss the part where I say that Band of Brothers is lame because Brothers of Band makes more sense, and is also lame? Or you just don't read so well? And then you're gonna tell me to go post in a Lin thread? **** off.
