Phew!! Was watching the game delayed on MLB.TV via AppleTV and it said that there was over an hour left in the game when I started to watch the 9th so I thought we blew the lead. Then we got to 2 outs and 2 strikes and I assumed it was a mistake. By the time Aybar came up to the plate as the tying run, I was cursing at my TV assuming they tied the game .. lol .. Very relieved to see that grounder to Altuve
no, he just said he was leaving last night. sick of us. i'm sure he'll come back tomorrow or wednesday. i hope he does at least.

Still a relatively small crowd last night. Bought tickets in 425 with the hot dog deal. Was handed tickets for free walking in for 335. Gave away the tickets in 425. Moved in the 3rd inning to 132 on row 10. My kids got to see it from field level so we were all happy. Even though I am foul/homerun ball repellent (only 1 ball hit close enough to even stand up while we were there), it was fun. While small in numbers, the people that were there were engaged and cheering everything positive.
Man, Altuve has recorded 36 outs on the base paths this season. I know there is an organizational edict to be aggressive, but he really needs to pull that back. Springer, Marisnick and Correa, our 3 next highest base stealers, have combined for 25 outs. The number about Altuve that is particularly noticeable, not counting CS and Pick Offs, he has been thrown out 18 times on the basepaths. The next closest guys are Villar (LOL) and Gattis, who have been thrown out 5 times. Springer and Correa combined only have 6. He needs to be smarter.
Correa's attempt at a double last night was kind of boneheaded. He has to watch for that bounce off the wall. A clean bounce almost always results in a single. He wasn't even remotely close to getting to 2nd in time.
