The Texans created an interesting competition for the return specialist job Monday, signing receiver Reggie Swinton, who will challenge incumbent J.J. Moses during training camp.
Swinton, who spent the first two years of his career with Dallas, played for Detroit in 2003 and 2004. He has averaged 23.9 yards on kickoff returns and 10.9 yards on punt returns during his career. He has four career returns for touchdowns.

Since Matt Stevens left, JJ has been my most hated Texan.... catch the ball and fall down. Hopefully Swinton can bring some electricity to the special teams.

Finally a legit return man.
Yea, J.J. Moses sucks.
He's quick....but not that fast.
Moses catches the return at the 15...he jiggles left, jiggles right, shuffles backwards, stumbles forward, back to his left, oh, he has a hole, and Moses down at the 17.

You couldn't be more wrong, the only reason he's been the kick returner is that he doesn't put the ball on the ground.

What if he said, "more like he's white, he fumbles and the opponent recovers at the 17"?

I like this a lot...Now we just need a Left Tackle and a Pass rusher and we're golden...:p

I wonder if JJ is getting a fair shake. Could it be why he hasn't gotten into the endzone at least once is b/c of the blocking?
That excuse works for Carr & Co, so why not special teams?

Well, now we have Buchanon to return the kicks too. That's 3 returners. Looks like JJ might get cut.

Something is wrong when you wish harm on players on our own team and laugh about it:mad: I like a nice legal highlight clip on occasion, but am glag when the player stands - exuding toughness.
JJ doesn't suck as a kick returner. He's just not a TD threat. I'm sure he'll have plenty to work for with these new acquisitions.
Do you have road rage temptations?
