I think their non-conference schedule looks pretty weak.

Out of those teams the only one I think we are severely undermatched against is Pittsburgh and we'll play them and Buffalo nearly every season. Seattle and St. Louis are far from strong teams even though they are NFC playoff teams... but that's like comparing Eastern conference teams in the NBA.

Third week bye is not going to be fun later in the year when players are tired/injured.
I'm making plans to be in San Fran for the new year's game. My sister's boy friend is a huge Niners fan and I told him we're going to the game no matter what. A holiday weekend makes it that much better!!

i hear ya...but i still wouldn't call that an EASY out of conference schedule. 3 playoff teams right there. KC is usually strong. and Buffalo came on strong at the end of last season. i wouldn't call that a weak out of conference schedule, by a long shot.

I live about an hour from Ralph Wilson Stadium, and almost every friend of mine is a Bills' Fan. I'm looking to hopefully get some together for that game.

I hate the bye being so early in the season.

So do I. Outside of that i'm fine with the schedule. It looks tough now but this is the NFL, there's no telling how good some of those teams will be next year (bills, rams, seahawks, chiefs)
That schedule is middle of the road...
SF, Arizona, Cleveland, and TENN twice are wins.
KC and STL at home. (win at least 1)
Split with Jax
at CIN and at SEA. (win at least one)
thats 8 wins. maybe a couple of upsets, and its a 10 win season

That's about what I was thinking... although I'm hoping for a sweep of Jax.

Compared to last year... this schedule is a cake walk..
I see 13 winnable games... aside from the Steelers and Indy.
We should be pushing for the playoffs next season...and if that's the case we should def beat Cincy, Cleveland, Tenn twice, Baltimore, Arizona and SF. That's 7 wins there. KC has no defense and StL is up and down...both winnable. That's 9. Seattle is a playoff team, but barely and was one and done. Buffalo came on strong toward the end but is putting an unproven QB at the helm next season. Both winnable. That's 11. Texan's should be as good if not better than Jax. Those are winnable. That's 13. Now will they win 13...highly unlikely... but I think a 10 or 11 win season is not out of the question.

Two Sunday night games? Nice!

Jeez! Only three games that aren't at noon.
Tailgating sucks at 9 in the morning.

Every single home game but KC is at noon, this has really got to stop. I can't believe how any fan would want to tailgate at 10 am Sunday morning (other than the excuse to miss church). Most fans were out late the night before and wakin' up anytime in the a.m. is the last thing we want. Do we need to petition or something cause this is ridiculus! At least 3 or 4 NOT noon games, please.

Early bye week sux...Pretty tough schedule, but definitely some winnable games...Playoffs or bust...However, that can only happen if we get a decent pass rusher and LB and if we get some time to throw the ball...
