All kidding aside, I'm a big time Louisville Cardinal fan. I had hopes of him somehow getting some playing time and working his way into the rotation, but it wasn't meant to be.

Gaines didn't have the Boki factor, he doesn't even have the right hair style
he's not the next Peja
with that said I predict he will get the same amount to time on the court he got here and in ORL

the only one left to shed from the magic deal (minus tmac of course) is Jho.
its only a matter of months until we get to post a "Jho watch" thread.
even though he is playing well right now, lets not let that blind us to the fact that he has about 4 years left on his deal that pays him way too much to be on the wrong side of 30.

All kidding aside Gaines does have potential to be a decent back-up for a good team. His size and speed are big benefits.
