Is there any requirement regarding mimimum amount to change status. I contributed long time ago and has not becoem contributing member. I am wondering whether I should contribute more??

No minimum required. Just goodwill giving and no one is restricted from giving as many times as possible.

Atimes bets are place with the proceeds going to tip jar like the one emjohn has going on now.

Hmm, I contributed last summer and my status has not changed. I e-mail clutch and did not get a reply. Perhaps my contribution was overlooked?

when you paypal(or send in check/cash)...make sure you notate your moniker(nickname).....I believe the instructions are on the tipjar page.....

I think the minimum that most folks send is 10...but many have done way more than that..

remember....you are helping keep this great community functioning....Clutch pays all the costs of this site(which are alot) and you might notice that there are no ads or sponsors to help defray the costs.....with over 15k members....this site uses a ton of bandwidth adn that aint cheap...

so...if you enjoy being here...and you enjoy not having to wait for a slow server to respond....contribute early and often so that this great site can continue operating.
