Yao has to stay away from foul trouble and perform. Deke probably will be tired after playing heavy minutes yesterday.

With plenty of rest from yesterday (22 min.), Yao should have a monster home coming game.
Rockets will win!

One good thing, we're well acquainted with Sacramento. The Kings ran the majority, if not all, of their starters against the Rockets in China. I love the Rockets chances in this one, especially coming off a big win and finally playing a home game.

Mo Taylor sets the pace offensively and defensively tonight. He loves playing against Webber. If Mo can play hard on opposing forwards and I mean the Mo Taylor that will fight you if you get out of line then its on. I think that he is totally pumped this year playing next to a true scorer like T Mac and we will see a lot out of him this year. Go Rox!

Guys, What can I do in order to watch tonight game? I live in LA and had to buy NBA League Pass cos live in LA, but my stupid local cable doesn't have NBA TV. Usually if on NBA TV, then there will be not on NBA League pass. So not fair for those who paid expensive league pass like me and got to miss almost 10 games of all Rockets games. I think i should blame on League pass company too cos they should show every game on League pass, not some on local channel some on league pass.

If not, we lose 85-100. Just cannot imagine that last year's orlando beats Kings.

I think the offense is a lot less tentative. But the defensive hole is still on the power forward spot. The difference from the Grizz game is Brad Miller will only shoot his mid-range jumpers. And Webber settles more on jump shooting now. Unless TMac, JJ, and Ward are able to creating some troubles in the passing lane, I think it's going to be more difficult to stop the Kings than the Grizz.

My prediction:
This is the game that Yao stays on the floor and TMac gets him off. This is the gell game. Tmac and Yao both go off for 20+ and the floor opens up for the 3 point shooters. High scoring affair with Rockets winning.

If Yao struggles again we won't win. They are stronger than Memphis. We have never been able to overcome the passing game of the Kings which will be our biggest problem tonight along with their shooting.
Our perimeter defense is terrible.

Everyone but TMac needs to step out to the perimeter and shoot jumpshots. I'd strongly consider putting Yao on Webber if Mo is getting mowed over like he did in the game in Beijing. Webber is the only guy who posts up now for the Kings.

Doesn't your statement almost prove the fact that he is???
All the 'experts' talk about how good he is and how much better he makes the team - and yet there is a ton of negative things that can be said about him!
It's questionable as to whether or not he makes them better - check the win% with and without him the past 3 seasons!

Yao should be shooting jumpers only now. The guy can rest his left elbow since the act of shooting a jumper is much less strenuous then laying the ball up or dunking. If he spots up from the high post, he can also get back on defense quickly. When Yao gets elbow healed up, then he can ease back into the low post offense.
If Yao can't shoot the jumper, they might as well play Dikembe more minutes.

When Webber played in the playoffs the only team the Kings couldn't beat were the eventual champions and one year they were screwed. When he didn't they lost to the Mavs. I think he made his team better.

Its because they aren't making shots that they normally make... if those fall, they'll be the same as always.
They've never been based on much atleticism or defense... just great markmanship.

well so much for T-Mac always initiating the offense... he's done very little of that thus far.. and Howard needs to realize he is not the first option when Yao and Mcgrady are on the floor together. we better not lose to these guys...Sacramento is well rested and I am sure our guys legs are tired from 4 games in 5 nights with 3 of those on the road but we're better than this team.

4 games in 5 nights with each game being in a different arena is as ridiculous as it can get for a NBA schedule. The Rockets are paying the price for the NBA wanting them on national TV so much. NBA TV has them tonight.

Well, I've been waiting to see this team before I decided if I wanted to shell out $160 for NBA League Pass and I've decided that I am going to pass. These guys are boring to watch on a regular basis. There is no flow to their offense, no movement, no excitement whatsoever. Their defense is ok, but inconsistent. Yes, I know they are still learning how to play together, so call me when they've learned in January. In the meantime, I'll spend my money elsewhere and catch them on TNT, TBS or whatever other national TV spot they have every week.
Check out Miami. Check out Washington. Those are some fun teams to watch.

Houston is 8-22 from long range. yes folks, they've taken 22 3-point shots. Sactown, known for its shooters has only attempted 9 from downtown
Name of the game.... make your wide open shots.
Or maybe just make HALF of your wide open shots.
If the Rockets do that today, they have the lead...
