I don't know if any of you are interested in doing this, but for those of you that have never done it before, I thought it might be interesting to do this test.

http://www.politicalcompass.org

I don't frequent the D&D as often as most of you, however, so if this has come up ad nauseum before, by all means ignore.

For what it's worth, I was almost dead center Moderate. I got one tick on the authoritarian side.

Wow. I'm a liberal! Who would have guessed?

So, even though I voted for Bush and was kind of relieved that he won, I'm still a liberal. Remember that. I can't be that bad. :D I feel so much cooler now!

and this post is actually not as sarcastic as you might think... it's good to be able to see both sides. The chart put me in the social justice type liberal neighborhood (i.e. Nelson Mandela). Of course, the questions they asked were general... sometimes, when it comes down to specific situations, I want to resolve them different ways.

Don't be too surprised. I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm conservative on some issues, liberal on others. I think we all tend to be conservative when it comes to personal decisions but more liberal when it comes to big picture type issues.

I like to take things on an issue-by-issue basis. Hey, I voted for both Republicans and Democrats in the elections yesterday. :)

I guess my support of the patriot act, coupled with some of my views on education and the arts, has moved me out of Libertarian country and nearly right on the line. I also seem to be by far the most right economically of those reported to this point. I am basically directly south of Tony Blair.

In the Mandela / Ghandi crowd.

Interested in seeing where some of the more public right-wing, conservative posters in this forum would end up.
