I may be overstepping my bounds here, but I think this deserves a thread. Would you rather see the Dodgers or the Cards in the next round, should we make it?

Personally, I'd rather see the Cards, based on the 5 of 6 we took from them to close out the season series.

Right now the Cards are on top big in game 1. Does that frighten anyone?

Whaddaya think?

I'd much rather face LA. The Cardinal's bats scare me a whole lot more than the Dodger's.

Darkhorse, watching this game i can't understand why you would want to play the Cardinals. It seems all their hitters are in their prime and they don't get nervous in the post season.

Agreed, the Cards are an awesome offensive team. Gimme the Dodgers.

Looks like the Cards have this one in the bag.....5 home runs, 2 from Walker.

Looks like it's time to update this thread to RedSox vs Angels.

1-0 Boston right now. I'm routing for the Angels.

Pujols opens with a HR too. That's almost devastating if you are an LA fan.

The Dodgers have no game. I'd rather play them, but I would love to knock those Cardinals out too. Cardinals much tougher. They have MVPs material their lineup. Larussa supposed genius as well. Tough.

As i said before i'd rather play LA. But as PHI said, it would be more gratifying to beat the Cardinals. It would also give us some serious respect and confidence heading into the World Series by beating the best team in the league (record wise of course).
