I would say its rare.

1986 would have been the last opportunity for it to happen (the last year that we had a football team and a baseball team (that went to the playoffs)

Well, I know that a few times back in the late 80s or early 90s, they did have baseball and football going on the same day. :)

I know. I remember several UH games that had to clear out to get the 'Stros in there on a Saturday night. But I don't think they would have done that if the Oilers were playing on a Sunday

WOw, and I thought yesterday was crazy! It sure is great to be a Houston sports fan.

It's never been better to be a Houston sports fan. It's especially satisfying for me because I live these 3 teams, I'm a total die-hard. I said the Astros will win in 3 against the Braves but possibly go 4, so I could see this happening.

Minnesota is gonna be a tough game for the Texans, but I'm confident they can win against any team if they're prepared and they execute.

I'm more pumped than I've ever been for the Rockets season to start. I can't wait to see the Rockets-Heat game.

I'm most likely going to the Texans game, plan on watching all of the Rockets game, and will tune into the Astros game if they're still in that series (but it will probably be over in 3).

so there is the potential of back to back days including TX vs ou and astros/braves game 3 on saturday and then astros/braves game 4, texans/vikings at reliant and yao/shaq at toyota center on sunday. that's a stretch of two days in sports i could get used to.

Does anyone have a time schedule for all 3 of those games. I know I can find it but Im just lazy. :cool: Anyway it would be cool if all of them were back to back so I wouldnt have to miss any Houston sports moments.
