Apparently the Astros front office is pretty confident...my company just received it's packet of playoff tickets and we were awed to see the 2004 World Series tickets in there. So I had to scan them in to give everyone a look at something we HOPE we get to use. Enjoy!
BTW...these were $33 tickets for the regular season...jacked up to $185...WOW!!!

Cool. I hope they're right. Most teams print all playoff tickets before the playoffs. That way they don't have to worry about a mass printing for each series.

Would have been games 1,2,6, and 7 if Roger had pitched well in the world series. Doh!

All Major League teams that are close to the playoffs or already in are required to have all their playoff tickets and stuff ready before the post season by MLB. So they don't wait till they are there in the playoffs before doing all these things.
I was talking to one of my representatives at the Astros game this Monday and she was telling me that is why they have been so busy lately.

I just bought 4 tickets for the NLDS Game 1 and 2 for next weekend. I am so psyched for the Astros and this will be my first game of the season since we have been living out of town for the last year and a half. I cannot wait!!!
On the down side, I bought $15 tickets but after all of the "Processing Fees" they ended up being $25 a pop!!! $10 a ticket???? Its robbery.

You mean Games 3 and 4. And did you order online? I'm going to the MMP box office in a minute to buy the tix there. I'm getting 2. I don't remember being charged a fee when I bought them at the Box Office.

I am pretty sure it said Games 1 and 2 and yes I ordered online so ticketraper, oops, I mean ticketmaster is the one that forked me in the cannoli. Games 3 and 4 make more sense since we would be the Wild Card team. I dont think you are charged those fees from the Box Office but I dont have that luxury since I'm in Charlotte right now. I'm driving down to H-town this weekend to start my new job. Daddy is comin home!!!

I think we're both right.
Home Game 1 = NLDS Game 3
Home Game 2 = NLDS Game 4
And, ouch, that sucks about TicketMastur. :\
Anyway, I'm assuming there are still 15 dollar tix left. Going to buy them in about an hour actually.

Wait, they can't play the Cubs in the World Series can they?!? I'm a little confused, since the Cubs are going to win the Wild Card and all. :D

There seemed to be some $15 tickets left. I got ours in 418 right behind home plate. I am assuming there are still some up there and I know there are some behind the bullpen. I hate being in the outfield though. We had a mini season ticket plan in 02 and they were in 416. Great seats up there.

The cubs shot themselves in the foot, i'm afraid they may be done for, unless they can somehow sweep the Braves...something they couldn't do in Cincinatti. ;)

No Kidding. i am showing a movie to my classes the rest of the day (which was planned anyway). I'll be watching cbs sportsline coverage of the game.

You get your money for the tickets back, but you won't get repayed any of the fees/convenience charges. I know this because I bought playoff tickets last year and we ended up not making it. It took about 2 months for me to get refunded for the tickets I think.

Are we getting the 1 pm shaft again, or will our games be on primetime with ATL.

heh i lived in houston my whole life but this year i'm attending Emory University in Atlanta and i've been cursing the fact that I haven't been able to watch the stros during their glorious run. But two weeks ago my friend got a group of us together to buy tickets to game 1 of the braves and now it looks like the good guys are facing the Braves. The only down side is that I have a chem test on thursday and game 1 is wednesday night.

Game one was confirmed on ESPN for Wednesday afternoon, if that helps any.
