I drive to work everyday like most other average american people. I drive along 610 and 290 up to my office and notice so much garbage, cigarette buts, trash bags, cans, sofas (yes I saw one of those the other day), and just about every other thing you can imagine would be disposed of out of someones window.
SIDE NOTE: I also noticed another intriguing thing about all the litter that lines every single street in Houston - the homeless at every corner along freeways. Most of the litter I see that is on corners has got to come from the homeless. I cant see it any other way.
The worst is when mowers mow the grass on the side of freeways and dont even bother to pick up the litter. They just mow over it grinding it up into millions of tiny particles.....
Does this bother anyone else?
Do we have more litter than other cities?
Is there any stop to this unsightly problem?
