Did you see that showboating A$$?
Putting his finger to his lips.....
You will learn more about the Astros and their attitude the first time he comes up tomorrow.
If our pitcher doesn't put him on his A$$ then we have a team of gutless wonders.

I hope you're right.
Garner's proved to be an awesome hire, btw.

Not sure Dr. Red Duke could find a heartbeat on this Astros team.
Not sure about Garner, but he does need to shake up the lineup, IMHO.
By the way, I am still not sold on Chavez calling of a game. Harville has a great fastball, it explodes across the plate, and he hardly called for anything other than slow breakers.
Strange.

No kidding.... and of all the people in the world to tell somebody else to "be quiet" its Milton freaking Bradley?!??!?
If I were the Astros PA department, when he's coming up to bat tommorow, I'd just play his tirade from earlier this year over and over again... and then when he takes the field, play it again.
Then... between innings, play the tirade again... and then follow it by the clip of him finger shushing... then he'll know who he needs to tell to keep quiet.
And THEN... the ball in the ear.

I was thinking the same thing after the way he showboated (a little) after his homerun.
This could be a way to light up this team. You know Garner might do it too.
Besides, it's Munro, an average pitcher, plus it will be the last time we play the Dodgers this season.

too bad Roger isn't pitching tomorrow; the Munro fastball just isn't the same

No need to get mad at Bradley. He has been a showboat since he was a rookie with the Expos. If you wanna shut him up tell the pitchers to stop throwing batting practice and get him out. Munroe is pitching Tuesday so he might showboat even more.

I like throwing at his ear better... then, he'll charge the mound, get himself tossed, and then we won't have to worry about our inept bullpen throwing him batting practice anymore.

now now, can't we all be friends?
I already hate this guy (bradley) I almost made me throw something at my tv. I hope he gets nailed tomorow.

But what do you solve if Bradley is seriously hurt after you hit him in the head? Nothing. He made a great play on Ensberg and lit the Stros up with his bat. Get him out and then move on. No big deal.

And did you see Houston Nutt doing the Horns Down sign. Who cares. After that monster shot Bradley hit, he had a right to do back flips around the bases.

Mine was a two-liner, btw. Just because you can edit it into a one-liner doesn't mean it was one.

It is all about respect, I would put him on his keester !!
He doesn't show any respect, he doesn't get any.
The ball would be traveling high and tight when he bats, all day tomorrow.

He didn't make a great play. He made a routine play then taunted the crowd.
Old school baseball...plunk 'em.

Thanks. That was correct grammar, by the way.
I was referring to more than one one-liner, hence the are instead of is.
Comedian=nope.
Sportscaster=nope.
English teacher=nope.
Stick to creating kickass video game companies, buddy. :D

I haven't been so mad at a player more then was at Milton, a few pitches to the ear should throw him into a fit.
btw Garner looks more like officer Garcia from Reno 911 more than Dr. Red Duke.

I am not saying we should hit him in his head, but around the chest area shounds great to me. Or how about hitting his hand so we can SMASH that damn finger of his.

I never had a problem with him showboating with his bat... cause frankly, he crushed everything...even though I'll sometimes get mad at guys like Ortiz and Pujols, who ALWAYS watch their shots... but they're damn good, so what are you going to do?
But, I do have a problem with making a freaking routine catch, after only the FIRST out... and making a gesture that every single Dodger fan was making at him, when he embarrased their historic franchise like nobody ever has with his antics earlier this year, in that tirade.
Also, never ever ever should anybody advocate hitting a guy in the head.... just brush him back a little... try doing it more than once... then he'll get the message, and throw another little tantrum.

I was hoping for our beloved Bagwell to save the day & heroically body slam Bradley to the ground during the postgame handshakes. Oh well, maybe tomorrow!?!

Am I missing something?? Post-game handshakes?
I'm pretty sure the team that's pitching in the end high-fives each other, and the losing (batting) team just simply goes into the clubhouse from the dugout.
If its any consolation, I'm sure Dodgers manager Jim Tracy (a no nonsense guy) would like to body slam Milton.

Look, it's late and normally I like to argue semantics like its going out of style. Handshakes/ High-fives between your teammates is what I meant, not the Astros shaking hands with their opponents and changing the course of baseball history.
I was just thinking that it would be cool for Bagwell to appear leaping out of the corner of the TV screen and pummel Milton "This Ain't No Game" Bradley :)

Yea... i think i realized this after I posted... sorry about being "semantical."
Honestly... we should all be at the ballpark tommorow and stand on the HR porch, and just drop little Monopoly/Life/Parchesi/Battleship pieces around him.... maybe he'll trip on a motel or the thimble or something.

Brilliant. I look forward to watching that on the big screen tomorrow!
Just make sure you do it in the pre-game warmups because I don't think that Bradley will last past the top of the 1st inning after we bean him and the fighting that is almost surely to occur with our die-hard Astros:)

I loved this team not too long ago. I'm by no means a fairweather fan, but they are really pissing the crap out of me. I'm starting to really dislike them. Get it together you s***heads.

You never, under any circumstances, throw at a guy's head.
Drill him in the ****ing ribs.
On top of it all, the chron is reporting that Ensberg's shot most certainly would have gone out, had the roof stayed shut.
The fact that the roof had just rolled back influenced the carry of that ball big-time, according to Ensberg... for sure, the ball he hit way out there was hit better than the HR he hit in the 6th.
That's just how the year has gone, I guess...

Nah, both teams shake hands now. Then they retire to the dugout and have juice boxes. And those with the cool parents get to go out and have pizza after the game.

I have more hate for the Astros right about now. Can't really be concerned with a knucklehead from another team when the home team is sucking it up.

You want to get Bradley back strike him out a couple of times and win the game.
Besides why were Astro fans getting so excited about Ensberg's pop fly anyways? It was well hit but clearly was not going to leave the park...
And where is the outrage over Ensberg's performance when he hit his 316 ft homerun?

ya think??
yeah, he may have hit it harder...but he also hit it to a deeper part of the field. i don't think the roof open or closed makes much of a difference in that park.

No... but they did retire him his first three plate appearnces, and each time they were with 2 outs.
Thus, as they were going to commercial, Fox would run a split screen, showing him walking back to the dugout, and the clip of him finger-shushing the crowd from the night before... basically they're saying he got out "quietly."
It was funny... then the Dodgers came back and won, and nobody cared anymore.
