It is being reported that an Ohio soldier who has been taken hostage for a couple months has been executed. Again this is unconfirmed (see link to the story out of Columbus below) but the Ohio Stations are all over it, his parent's house is surrounded by police cruisers keeping people away and a represenative from the military is there. At this point the parents are being told nothing is confirmed. Let's all hope the reports out of Iraq are incorrect.

We need to hunt down these cowards and kill them like the cockroaches they are.

That must be why the Re elect Bush team sent postcards to the the soldiers in Iraq to affirm that they have been praying for *Bush*.

It is sad that the deceptions and ineptitude of the Bush Administration have led to atrocities like this.:(

The Al Jazeera video (very low grade) shows a man (presumably Maupin) sitting down (on his knees) with a hole/grave dug in front of him, someone walks up behing the person and shoots him in the back of the head.

Sounds like unlike the other executions the body is buried (rather than dumped in a public place) so they can't can't find the body to confirm what happened and to whom.

Hey, if we have to put up with one thread a week with intel from the Weekly Standard as the only source (and have it be the exact same news item every time), we have to put up with news from Robin Quivers.
