Playboy picks sexiest newscaster

Can't argue with this pick, even though I've never heard of her. I guess I need to start watching Headline News more often.

Americans may be split on how they feel about the war in Iraq or who they would like to be president, but there's no denying who they want to deliver the news -- good or bad. Playboy.com users selected CNN Headline News's luscious lipped Robin Meade from among 10 of the hottest talking heads as America's sexiest newscaster. In a rare Playboy.com poll runaway, Meade beat the competition hands down with a solid 40 percent of the more than 40,000 votes cast.
The eponym of Headline News's morning show Robin & Company, Meade's previous claim to fame was as 1992's Miss Ohio. The part-Native American beauty queen with those devilishly arched eyebrows and a smile that could light up Atlantic City is all the incentive we need to get out of bed in the morning.

Meade edged out her Headline News coworker Rudi Bakhtiar, who received 19 percent of the vote, and Fox News's blonde bunker-buster Laurie Dhue, who got a commendable 15 percent. Despite this victory, Turner's news division -- which once touted Paula Zahn as being "just a little bit sexy" to the sound of a zipper -- was less than thrilled about trouncing Fox News in this particular category. "Online polls about news anchors are fairly common," a Headline News spokesperson sniffed to the Atlanta Constitution. "We have no comment about this specific poll." Odd that a news network would decline to comment about a story that has made so much news.

Okay... the picture in the website doesn't do her justice... but...

when I read the article in this (last?) month's issue, the picture with the Korean chick was pretty damn hot. An asian girl with breasts, I support that! Meanwhile... I guess I've always thought certain Korean chicks are cute.

Anyway... I should have voted, she got last place. Too bad I never vote for anything.
