I don't like it, I don't like Malone, I don't like the Jazz... But, if the NBA is gonna let him get away with it, why not??? It would take some real guts up in the NBA headquarters to tell the referee union that Malone's consistent kicking was in fact an offensive foul and should be called. They've been letting him do it too long. The Spurs player probably got called for a foul on that play to top it off.

......ya gotta believe that Malone's real mentality in all this is only a shade above Rodman's unabashed off court antics..... only thing is I remember the Rodmadman from years ago and I still love the intensity and insanity he brings to his team then and now ( don't want the distractions in Houston though, so stay where you are) .....but at least Dennis admits who he is and what he does...Malone is a Bully when he can and a Cry Baby if he can't......I truly think he will become an all star WWF wrestler when this is all over......PunkAssIsAsPunkAssDoes......

I think most of Malone's kicking habits come from a fear of someone else "getting over" on him. In other words, he's insecure about his own status as an NBA player, and it's his subconcious defending itself even when there's no need for it. Even half of the blunders he makes in interviews could be from that same problem. Somewhere deep down he thinks he still has to prove something to the world. And the fact is, he's proven himself already. This kicking thing is probably just a physical manifestation of his mental warring against the world.

But that's just my view.

He is, however, a dirty player as a result of whatever the problem may be... at least he's perceived to be here in Houston. I'm sure some other cities dislike him though.

That whole team (Jazz) plays cheap and dirty. On the picks and screens they always grab the defender and get away with. Plus the guys (especially Malone and Stockton) are always throwing elbows around. I hate them more than the Knicks...who also play cheap (but who are a bit more tolerable since the departure of Oakley and Starks).

Rodman is a very intelligent player...He's a freak but isn't a punk like the Mailman.

The refs are supposed to call all that it's not about having enough heart to call those plays, If they dont call them then it's a contradiction to the NBA rulebook becasue it clearly states if hit someone you it is a foul.
