So as Rocket fans, we all know there's a consensus of teams that we don't like, or fans of other teams that we don't like.

So who doesn't like us? Why don't they like us? How long have they hated us? Is their hate justified?

As an organization, we seem like we're one of the least hateable teams in the league to be honest..

Phoenix. We knocked them out of the playoffs several years in a row when they had that great team lead by Charles Barkley.

Other than that I'm not really sure.

I think the jazz and their fans feel the same way about us as we do about them. Not that I care what those silly utards think anyway....

Yeah, Phoenix; Utah, probably, and I doubt New York is very fond of us after having crushed their dreams (making the JVG, Ewing thing ironic to the extreme). San Antonio SHOULD hate us, but suspect they do not.

OTOH, it's VERY hard not to hate the Lakers (who probably care less), Seattle and the Bulls.

I think of the posters on this board hate us...they always have something negative to say about this team...

Nobody hated us because we've sucked the last four years. That might change soon...I'm sure Denver doesn't like us very much because we've beaten them about 50 consecutive times.

Utah, Phoenix, Orlando, and NY. They probably each think they would have a championship if not for this guy:

I would add the Spurs, but they've since won 2 since then....well, 1 1/2 anyway.

I also think Dallas hates both Houston and San Antonio on some levels:

1.) They have glitz and glamour, we have championships

2.) They "think" they're the biggest and most important city in Texas.

3.) They have an owner who fills their heads with these idiotic ideas.

4.) They were AWFUL for several years, then they attracted all these groupie fans (who are now 'diehards'....please), now they act like they're one of the proudest NBA franchises ever... when they don't even compare to a Houston, or even a Utah, no less.

5.) They will always be ONE player away... and chances are they'll trade him away in the plethora of multi-player deals they've become so fascinated with.

Kenny Thomas, Glen Rice, Terrence Morris, Rashard Lewis, Scottie Pippen, Dan Langhi, Jason Collier,Vernon Maxwell and The Shanghi Sharks.

...and Billy Wagner.

For the record... none of these players have ever done anything great since they broke their affiliation with Houston... yet.

The only ones with a real opp. to are Rashard and Billy.... and even then, unless they're physically beating Houston themselves, I couldn't care less about how they're succeeding elsewhere.

It sounds like you hate Dallas and not the other way around.

Jay Howard absolutely abhorred the Rockets (and anything to do with Houston for that matter) when he was the voice of the Spurs.

Why would Dallas hate us? They had four nights off last season when they played the Rockets...

Guys, people in Utah really don't give a damn about the Rockets.
I was listening to the local radio talk show which had a day on this topic (who's the Jazz's rival).

They neither hate nor like the Rockets. They just don't care. Their hate are mainly toward the Lakers/the Kings and maybe the Spurs who has practically owned them for over four years.

However, if you search through the Suns' board, you'll find those guys really do hate us.

I could not believe the people in Dallas when I went there. It's not only that they think the Mavericks are the greatest team ever assembled in the league, but the fact that the people I met completely dissed Houston with four basic points:

[list=a]
They constantly whine that if Jordan was playing, the Rockets would be championship-less
They said that Houston was just white hicks and Mexicans...look in the mirror, Dallas.
The city is really a "cow town" and Dallas is an advanced metropolitan technological Mecca.
Women in Dallas are hotter than women in Houston (WRONG on so many levels).
